This will be a detailed analysis of Military Rule paying specific attention to political intolerance and how it affects Military Rule. Note: I will be taking this analysis pratically from two regimes i.e from Milton Obete and Idi Amin’s regime respectively. What is Military Rule? A Dictatorial regime is one where absolute sovereignty (in relation to the rule of the Military) to an individual (the Military Head of State) or a small clique (like the Armed forces Ruling Council). It is popularly refered to as an autocratic regime and we also know that it repudiates democracy and it negates its principles. What is Political Intolerance?
